Arunas Kleismantas is lecturer at the Geology and mineralogy Department of Vilnius University, Lithuania. He hold a position of chairman at Lithuanian Gemology association, also is certified expert of gemstones.

• In 1996 he founded Museum of Precious Stones (Gemmology), the only one of that kind in all Baltic states;
• In 1986 he was graduated from Vilnius University, Faculty of Nature Sciences and awarded master degree as biologist/biology and chemistry Lecture;
• His next education in geology (gemology) at the Geology and Mineralogy Deptof Vilnius University was graduated in 1998 (M.Sc);
• In 2001-2005 he completed his Dr. studies in geology by defending thesis in gemology ("Mineralogical and gemological peculiarities of beryl varieties") and was granted doctor degree.

Probation:

• in 1991, 1992, 1995, 1996 at "Kristal" Gemstone enterprise in Vinitsa, Ukraine, obtaining gemstone expert qualification;
• in 1993, 1997, M.S. Baroda. University Geology Faculty in Vadodara in India;
• 2001-2005 Moscow State Geological Prospecting University Gemmology Dept,Russia;
• in 2003 American Gemmology Institute Moscow Branch.
